Reference page for no-output and fault-light symptoms where the secondary rectifier, middle board or transformer path may be involved.
Checks
- Measure output rectifier devices in diode mode after discharge.
- Compare both sides of the secondary rectifier path for symmetry.
- Inspect transformer secondary solder joints and high-current connections.
- Check whether protection clears when the suspect secondary path is isolated safely.
