Fault route

LGK60L Fan Not Running Diagnostic

A practical route for separating fan failure from input, power-switch, control-transformer and main-control-board DC24V faults.

Quick Answer

If an LGK60L powers on but the fan does not run, do not replace the fan first. Split the fault into input power, switch, control transformer, DC24V output and the main control board fan socket.

Use this page when

  • Machine has power symptoms but the cooling fan does not rotate.
  • The fan connector and DC24V path can be measured safely by a qualified technician.
  • You need to separate fan failure from control-board supply failure.

Do not use this page when

  • The machine is completely dead with no input evidence.
  • The breaker trips immediately at power-on.
  • The fan runs but the machine has no cutting output.

LGK60L fan-not-running route

Input and low-voltage supply evidence before fan replacement.

1Input cord

Confirm the input power cable is not open.

2Power switch

Check open contacts or loose switch wiring.

3Control transformer

Bottom-board X6 should show the control transformer output/input-voltage evidence.

4Main control board

X17 should have AC15V-0V-15V; X16 fan path should provide DC24V with the fan disconnected.

5Fan

Replace the fan only after the board-side fan supply is confirmed.

Measurement / evidence table

Evidence pointExpected / abnormal evidenceRepair direction
Input power cableOpen input line means no reliable fan/control supply.Repair or replace input cable.
Power switchOpen switch or loose connection blocks the fan-control chain.Repair switch wiring or replace switch.
Bottom board X6Expected control-transformer voltage evidence includes AC0V-220V-380V style input/output reference. If missing, inspect bottom-board/control-transformer power path.
Main control board X17Expected AC15V-0V-15V control input evidence. If missing, check control transformer and wiring.
Main control board X16With fan disconnected, X16 should provide DC24V.If DC24V missing, suspect main control board; if present, replace fan.
