Hall Current Sensor Welder Diagnosis
Current sensor feedback can cause display errors, current cannot adjust, unstable output or no output.
Component role
Hall sensors provide isolated current feedback to the control board. Under load, compare actual current, panel display and sensor output voltage before replacing the main board.
Repair evidence table
| Symptom | Check | Repair clue |
|---|---|---|
| Display abnormal | Sensor output, 0–4 V class feedback, cable and control-board input | A bad sensor or open cable can make current display wrong. |
| Current cannot adjust | Encoder command, Hall feedback and PWM response | If command changes but feedback is wrong, diagnose sensor path. |
| Output high/low or unstable | Loaded current and sensor voltage | Do not trust the panel alone; measure the sensor output under load. |
