Output Diode 20040 Module Testing

Output diode modules can cause no OCV, weak loaded current, protection trips or asymmetric output behavior.

Component role

The 20040 class output diode module should be tested as separate diode paths after isolating connected wiring. Test both directions.

Symptom	Possible diode fault	Evidence
No open-circuit voltage	Open output diode path	No proper rectified output after transformer.
Breaker/protection on load	Shorted output diode	Diode-mode short or low resistance both directions.
Weak loaded current	One path failed or poor connection	OCV may appear but loaded current collapses.
