Fault route
ZX7-160/200 Power Indicator On but No Output Diagnostic
A compact ZX7 no-output route for machines that power up but do not produce welding output.
Quick Answer
If the power indicator is on but there is no welding output, do not start at the input board. Split the fault between top-board drive permission, middle-board transformer/output diode path, shunt/feedback evidence and output lead connection.
Diagnostic path
Power indicator → drive permission → main transformer → output rectifier diodes → reactor / shunt → output terminals.
Evidence table
Indicator on: auxiliary power exists. No drive: top board/control module/driver transformer. Drive present but no output: main transformer or output diode path. Weak or unstable output: reactor, shunt or feedback.
